Role Objective• Support month-end close and provide accounting oversight • Act as a partner to the Accounting Lead in building scalable processes • Health Insurance/HMO • Enjoy unlimited MadMax Coffee • Diverse learning & growth opportunities • Accessible Cloud HR platform (Sprout) • Above standard leaves Key Responsibilities• Ownership of OPEX accounts and related balance sheet accounts • Review and posting of journal entries • Reconciliations (prepaids, fixed assets, accruals, payroll – if applicable) • Review work completed by the Junior Accountant • Support month-end close cadence and financial reporting readiness • Assist in developing policies, procedures, and internal controls Experience & Qualifications• Strong GAAP knowledge (US GAAP preferred; other frameworks acceptable with understanding of differences) • ERP exposure preferred • CPA or equivalent license: nice to have, not required Key Soft Skills• Ownership mindset and startup mentality • Passion for process improvement and building for scale • Strong collaboration and problem-solving capabilities • Additional relevant knowledge or experience related to the above requirements will be considered an advantage.
